The Red Gang is a roaring jazz orchestra (or just a Trio!), like the ones that played back in twenty’s in New York and Chicago. Their repertory is perfectly arranged in twenty’s style with a bit of originality .They are the only Italian group, which uses saxophone bass instead of tuba bass or contrabass, and uses a traditional formation. The group has been mentioned by the jazz magazine called “Musica Jazz” and performed in many important jazz festivals collaborating with Lino Patruno.
Red is one of the best Traditional Jazz sax player in Italy. He also performs in trio or quartet.
